Our house clock recently 'expired' well it had been a long time (no pun intended) and I figured that maybe the battery needed changing, Well it did just that it was so old that it leaked out and caused the whole clock to not work. So in the end had to replace the clock with a new one. I think from now on I'll change the battery every 6 months to avoid the battery leaking.
