STGCC

 

This year’s Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention (STGCC) was held at Suntec Convention Centre from 13 to 16 August. I only managed to get down there on the last day this year. I had my brother in law help me out on the first day to get Brian Bollard’s signature. He got me a cool Tank Girl sketch as well. That was lucky too as the last day most of the time were already sold out. I did get my Batman the Killing Joke signed after waiting almost an hour in the queue. Pretty nice obliging gentleman, managed to get a picture of him signing my book as well. That was great too.

I did get a few things at the convention like my last piece of Star Wars Mighty Mugg (Darth Vader) which I was missing for sometime now. Hasbro had the ‘Smiling’ Luke as he returned from destroying the Death Star it was a Comic Con Convention Special and I got that as well. I guess that was about it. I guess the highlight for me was getting a picture with my favour Star Wars character the Emperor’s Royal Guard. ya ….

As to the cosplay characters they were quite elaborate did not know who won as I was still standing in line to get my book signed, but here’s 2 of my favourites.
