Blue Day - 25/1

It has finally arrived. My last day of work. The past week has been one farewell lunch after another, I was kept busy. I finally cleared my work, tidy up my desk, good old Mr Potatoe Head was packed and the only thing left was to say my goodbyes to the friends I've made. There was definately some sadness today on my part. Some people may think that since I was there for a short time it does not really matter but you do get attached to your projects and the people you work with. It was fun and enjoyable working there, I will miss it somehow. But I guess you have to move on, first off would be to go for a holiday before I start work with my new company. ++++ ++++ ++++ On another note, I had dinner with the missus today at Azabu Sabo at Marina. The service was really bad, food took quite some time to get to our table. There did not seem to be a shortage of staff but they tend to congregate among themselves. When we asked for more soup to top up the fast dwindling hot pot, it took almos 4 tries to different service staff before someone followed up on our request. Food came with no utensils and they never bother to lay out the utensil before the food arrive. It really pissed off the missus and she was really complaining all the way. Almost went to the extend that she wanted to not pay the service charge but the dessert which this shop is famous for was really good and it was the one saving grace and that really did 'cool' her down. As for me after the rather filling lunch I had today, did not really take much just share a small serving with the missus and had a smooth ice-cream float.
