Running

I recently received the official timing and certificate for the Passion Run which was held at East Coast. It's getting more and more innovative these certificates. No more just a piece of paper with your name and that you completed the run. Nowadays there are more and more innovative methods to printing the certificates. This time for the Passion Run it came like a magazine cover with your official name and even race photo. (ok this cannot be shown to the public, totally shack looking face of me finishing the race, most unglam photo of all, it was a really tough run) Timing was printed which was not a good time. Guess overall a run to be forgotten. Now awaiting the Shearers Bridge Run certificate that should be better.

I've also signed up for the year ending Standard Charted Marathon (only 10 km for me - still working on half Marathon) in December. I was also looking forward to the Real Run, which I took part last year and that run was the beginning of the running bug. It's the one where you get to run over different terrains like Road, Trail, Beach, Track, Runway. Still checking the online registration. At the Sheares Bridge run, there was a booth where you could sign up for the Swiss Hotel Vertical Marathon. I was seriously thinking of that and finally after checking the site out. I have signed up for it. What's attracting me to it was the prospect of being on top of the world's tallest hotel. That's got to be something, now I only need to scale up 73 floors and 1,336 steps to reach there. Hey if a granny can do it. I should be able to. Well hopefully ....
